I have a 1975 440 with ~35000 miles on it from a Winnebago.I recently acquired a 1963 Dart and want a 383 or 400 to drop in it since it can be done without fenderwell headers. The 440 is a much more involved swap or else I would just use this engine. So if anyone in the Florida region would be willing to trade for a 383 or 400, please let me know. This engine is complete from intake to oil pan, I can supply pics if there is any interest. It is a 1975 440 with 452 heads. Please let me know. Thank you.Tyler

You don't need fenderwells for a 440...
Im using a set of Schumacher Tri Ys also TTI makes a header to
Many use these with a 440
A 440 swap is no more involved than a 383 or 400

I'm talking an early a-body. There's quite a bit less room then the later model a's. As far as I know, fender wells are the only way unless someone has another option with some pictures.

Come back up ere and by my 383. The short block is ready to assemble. All you need is heads and cam.

If I had the cash I would!

Think I might have a lead on a 400 though.

Awesome. I am glad you found one. I am fixin to scrap my 383. No one has even made an offer. Pretty disheartening.
