Mopar missed the boat......again

i figure the auto co have always made their big markups on loaded cars NOT the base model!!! i'm 66 and have bought 2 new trucks in my life. a 68 ford and 95 cummins dually. the 95 dually costs about 30 g back then and it wouildn't have been bought then except for who is now the X! LOl i still have the truck! i agree, its hard to imagine how people afford all the things they think the have to have in life: huge homes, new expensive vehichles, cruises, english muffins!!????
both the washer AND dryer went south the same week! the $$ i had been saving to put the 63 dart on the road went to new washer, clothes line works well instead of dryer in warm weather. the new washer , had a electronic gizmo that locks the lid before it will start to let in water! ( i guess this is some type of safety thing) OR maybe an excuse for it too cost a little more and have an expensive part to go BAD!?? LOL and this is the CHEAPEST washer they make!!! ( she's lucky they don't sell the hand wringer type anymore!!?????) LOL
i have to wonder if people in the average European country have our problems ( living standards) and are becoming senical like us U S citizens !@?????????????????

I bought my whirlpool washer n dryer at an estate sale $200 ,for the pair. Had em 7 years now. Most people these days are mortgaged out the A$$, have 6 or 7 year loans on expensive new cars, etc

Me , all my vehicles i own outright except for the low mileage 2 year old dodge caravan i just bought for my wife. $15,000 ,for a 2 year old loaded clean vehicle like that isnt bad at all, house is payed for etc. we dont live extravagant, and live within our means, and btw, i love thomases english muffins with scrambled eggs and cheese .

I think some people arent happy with their lives unless it has to do with buying things. Good friends and family are more important than material things, but if dodge can get $45k for these then more power to em. I know i wont buy one for that kind of money.
