what to do if you have the "lost" car

A car and an orig engine are 2 different stories, BUT they both boil down to you, or yer cousin being the owner. I would be polite the 1st time...2nd time maybe...3 strikes and yer out..COLD!
Now if you had an engine that was orig to a car that someone else owns, I would definitely try and work something out.

well that is why I was asking to see what the average mopartian would do because we all love stories of cars getting re-united with original owners and cars getting back their original engines. Like the story with PA Karp and the yellow 69 cuda was a really good read, but its not always going to be practical. What happens if a guy has a HEMI he invested blood, sweat and tears into and then finds out someone is looking for it.

In a way I do feel bad for the guy too but fair is fair and where do you draw the line.
