direct tv or Dish

I used to install both Dish and Directv. Direct is Much better. I was always going out for service calls for dish. Equiptment sucked and too complicated for both the installer and the customer. I have had Directv for over 10 years now. I hardly ever have a problem with it, even in bad weather. The key to them is to get the signal in the high 90's and make sure the fittings are sealed from the weather. Many installers use cheap crimp connectors that get wet and corrode and then the signal weakens (in good weather) but when it rains the signal is really weak and you lose picture.
I installed my Directv here at my house almost 8 years ago and have not touched it since except to add a tv.
