Anyone concerns with the car before I make an offer?

When you are dealing with big block A body stuff, it is a whole different world from 67 to 69 , and that particular car has been for sale for ever , meaning the red big block car .Do not get me wrong , the car he is looking at is nice, but undesirable year.It it were a 68 or 69 GTS, Swinger ect , even without the original power train it would be worth 21 all day long .But everybody has there own opinion, and this is mine .

That, and we're in Canada, where everything costs more just because.

Yep and our dollar is tanking. $21K CDN for our friends in the US is around $19K US right now. Even better deal for someone.

Sorry to here been there.:banghead:

Every day for two weeks straight he calls saying he is coming to get the car on such and such a date. Last week he starts stating he's having a hard time finding a way to come get the car. Two days before he was supposed to show up, he cuts all contact and doesn't answer his phone or email. :banghead:

Selling an old muscle car on Kijiji or another similar site is hell on earth. Just spent two years selling a 73 Challenger and 71 Dart because of guys just like the one above. They pull you along to the point where you have to store the car for winter and wait another 5 months till you can pull it out again.

I've also got signs on the car itself and trying to drive it around as much as possible to hopefully real someone in that way.

many things here to consider: 67 not as desirable (or valuable as 68-9 car. what did vin say this car was originally? for that money I would have to drive it and make sure it has no "holes" in it mechanically!!. would trouble me having wrong trim and conslole etc for sure.
I would ASK those people in the KNOW, what this type car is ACTUALLY bringing now, forget what people ask.... if ya really want it. then pay what you feel comfortable with.. if he wants more, he needs to keep it....
we all understand our economy is soft, collector car market took a dive when the economy went to s---. costs so much for a resto where a person has to pay someone else to do the work..... not helping the market is " ya can buy one done for less than ya can have it done!!". as long as this is the rule of thought, its hard to get back that investment! only way around that, is be able and willing to do work yourself, oR find bodyman, etc that does good work for a REASONABLE price!!?????
problem now JUST as it was when the mopar crashed in 91-2 is" I got to sell my car before I buy another"!!! what comes first, the chicken or the egg!!?????
please excuse my rambling, just trying to add food for thought.....
