I'm replacing the Kframe and lower control arms on my 67. The old Lca's have sway bar tabs and I have a good set of new Lca's that need the tabs. Where can I get a set of factory looking ones???

Can you remove them off the old lca s and weld them to the new ones?

I've had someone do that one time for me. You cut into the old LCA heavily to save as much of the sway bar tabs as possible. Probably mess up the old LCA, but if you are replacing it, they are no good anyways.

If you carefully grind the old weld and old lca bits from the sway bar tabs, they should look very close to stock on the new/replacement LCA's.

Nowhere, you can't, nobody reproduces them.
Get out your Dremel and do what my friend in the other reply mentioned to you.
Surgically cut off the ones from the other pair of LCA's, or bite the bullit, and rebuild the ones with the tabs.

LCA bushings are CHEAP, clean those up and replace the bushings. If there is slop between the body of the LCA and the torsion bar socket, fix it with the instructions in this video:

The LCAs in the car now have the tabs, and they are good. I have a perfect set and a rebuilt K frame ready to go in and wanted to use the new ones. They just need the tabs, I hate to tear up the set that's on the car now. I'll put them on the shelf for another project.

Why not rebuild the tab arms and use them now if you have a sway bar?

I think I might just do that, the new ones are almost virgin. I guess I'll save them for the next car I build..Nothing really wrong with the ones on the car now, the problem is the bushings in the K frame and the power steering box. Everything else has been rebuilt or replaced.

I knew someone offered a repop of the later tabs that sit about the middle of the lower arms length.
I did not know anyone offered the tab for pre 72 lower arms.

Hotchkis sells the tabs to be welded on.

Hotchkis makes, and sells, tabs for the 73-76 A body cars, and 70-74 E Body cars, and 70-72 B Body cars, which are all the same thing.
They also have tabs for the 66-69 B Body cars.
They DO NOT have tabs for the 72 and earlier A Body cars.
It would be nice of them if they could come across a pair of 65-72 sway bar tabbed LCA's and use them as a pattern to repop, but so far nothing like that has happened, in the world of aftermarket parts.

Ok, I got the tabs from Hotchkis, they need to be trimmed to fit to use them on a 72 and down LCA. It's not a big deal, about 1/4 inch on the welded side. You have to bend the inner side to clear the strut rod. I also needed to grind some clearance too.
