here is my take...ATi makes good transmissions ...but they are in Maryland....you are in Visalia ...

something goes wrong who is paying shipping back n forth?

Pro Trans makes good transmissions...and they are in Palmdale Ca......JMO....

I've had a lot of problems with ATI. I would not use them. They put the wrong park rod in my trans, and kept telling me how many transmissions they build. then after driving an hour to their shop after having to pull my trans AGAIN, they wanted me to leave it. I told them they can fix it now, and I'll wait. Took them 2 hours to change the part. Then the low/reverse piston broke, and they refused to fix it, so I took it to another shop to have it repaired. He said he had to put in 10 helicoils for all the boogered threads. Then I had to change out the manual valve body cause ATI's vb hit so hard in the 2/3 shift my dash would shake. Of course they said this was normal. Now the convertor is supposed to be a 3000 stall, but I can only footbrake it to 1200 rpm till it starts pushing the car, so I need to change that one day too. All this, after they didn't use the complete untouched core I brought them in the first place.
