Well, its been a pretty good day. I had a job offer today from an interview I took last week in Saskatchewan. Running/helping run 2 brand new regional water treatment plants with 700 miles of brand new distribution piping. I would actually help/assist/watch as the treatment plants finish getting built. A kind of Commisioning...pretty big deal really for only being involved hands on with water treatment for a year. Its a dream job, BUT its NOT home.

Now for tomorrow I have a Skype interview planned with a decent sized city...population of over 50k people. That is the one I am hoping for, it would be only 3 1/2 hours from home. :blob: So weekend/conjugal visits would be in order.
I guess now that I have my Level 1's that makes me more "desirable??" LOL
Positive thoughts appreciated!

Best of luck Steve. Hope it goes well! Which city?

Hey Steve, I hope you get the job in North Bay! It is a beautiful area. We rent a cabin about 45 min away from there for 2 weeks every summer.

GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks Chris, interview is done. Im trying to stay positive, but I HATE INTERVIEWS!! I agree it does look beautiful there and would love to spend a lotta time fishing!

Well Steve, if you get the job, I will take you fishing on the lake we stay at in July. The fishing is awesome!
I hope that you did well in the interview and didn't get anyone's name mixed up or anything like that, cause you seem to have forgotten mine..... LOL :hmph:

Aahhhh you'll do fine as long as you weren't standing in front of the mirror taking pictures of yourself. :poke:

Just charm them like you did us, and by the time they figure you out it will be to late! Just kidding buddy- best of luck and follow your heart.

Good luck

I have given about 13 interviews in the last two months, being the interviewer isn't much fun either. Nice that you got to skype the interview, it's very hard to get a vibe of a person when doing it by phone.

Positive thoughts are on the way for you....... Closer to home sounds awesome 8-)

Or quacking like a duck LMAO :eek:ops:

Anything that gets you closer to home is a step in the right direction. Very best of luck! You've made an incredible sacrifice so far, I hope you can make your way back home. Jim
