just wondering if the nor-cal mopars are planning a get together this spring/summer/fall? lets make this happen. lmk if there is anything i can do to make this happen. thanks bruce

More information please

I just saw the flyer today, but registration deadline for mail-in is the 15th April.

http://www.pantherbandboosters.com/car-show

It's for all pre 1976 cars or trucks of the american breed.

It's going to be at the end of first street. I have yet to see more than one mopar attend really. I think last year I saw one, doesn't mean there weren't more though. lol.

I should enter my car. I could win "only slant 6 to show up" and "I'm not sure what kind of nova this is"

Check it out: They got a new home this year...

Hey whats up guys. The Dart has been sitting for a month now and I have no time to fix it. I've been driving the Challenger so much lately I have almost forgotten what it is like to drive the Dart. Hope to have her back on the road sooner than later.

Just noticed the post # I guess I'm only half EVIL.....

Conveniently located right off the freeway, but it won't have the "out in the country" feeling of Ohlone College. I'm afraid I let my membership lapse since I don't have a car at present.

Oh yeah, now I'm working on the motor. Here's what it looks like at present.

Just spoke to my machine shop (Clark's in Cupertino), and apparently 2 out of the 3 heads I dropped off were cracked (probably the 2 that were on the car). So now I need another head, and obviously I would prefer to source it locally; since (1) they weigh a ton, and (2) they're very fragile. I'll even take a pair if anyone has a set they want to get rid of. I don't need the rocker assemblies or even the valves. I'm in Menlo Park, roughly the mid-peninsula, but anywhere in the bay area would be close enough. Ideally not Sacramento or Redding.

Right off what freeway...kinda don't like to cruise the freeway too much with the 4.56s in it

Freeway-wise, if you're coming from the north or south it isn't much different than going to Fremont. If you're coming from the east bay it is a longer trip.

Check with Rob , I know he has the 273 parts on CL. Might still have the heads you need.

Coming from San leandro...prob 880 I guess?

It's at the intersection of 280 and 85. Your most direct route might be 880 to 237 to 85. Or the Dumbarton to 101 to 85.

Love this!

I've been asked a few times. My favorite was a guy who said I was bullshitting him cause "darts are a new car, they weren't made in the 70s". My car wasn't made in the 70s, but still.

I actually did enter my Dart for the show. Why not... have to drive 5 minutes to get there, and there are a few other A-body's that will be there off Facebook, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I go to Ohlone for schooling, so that's way convenient for me. But I live in Milpitas, so it's not too bad heading that way instead. By the way, the parking lots are all jacked at Ohlone so that's probably why they moved.

Does anyone here have a green a-body, wanna say like a early 70s dart 2 door, that drove down Lake Herman road in Vallejo today? If so... I saw you... while i was driving.

What class is everyone registering under this year? I know Mike is moving over to daily driver. Anyone else?

My "class", as usual, is the Swap Meet...

Max, just take a "Barracuda" fender emblem and string it around your neck and put yourself in the project class...:blob:

Max what type of head do you need? I have a couple sets of heads one nice fairly new 318 la set and a closed chamber 273-318 set. Not sure if you need 340/360 set or not. Let me know.

I need a closed chamber 273 head, 920 casting. I'm just trying to get the motor back together for now, as a stock 273 Commando. I'll take the set if you want to sell them together.
