I was looking at some 175/65/r14's, I saw a 205... but to be safe was thinking the largest i should go is a 195/70/r14 to be safe... i still will have the original drums on the car too, so i dont want to overwork the little guys...
195's ?........Might as well leave your little 13's on.
Your car will take 205/70 or 215/70 all day long. I run 215/70-14 on my 65 Dart and 70 Dart.
If you want to run 15's you run 60 series tires. 205/60-15 or 215/60-15.
If you go 14's a 205/70-14 is a great all around tire. But I would go with a 215/70-14 which is the closest to the stock 14" tires on a 340 car. (F-70/14.)
I happen to know where a great set of 215/70 tires an rims are. :)
