Car Transporters

Hello everybody, It's been a while since I have posted but I've been lurking from time to time. Anyway. I need your help. I'm in the process of buying a Barracuda that is in California and I need It transported across the country to N.C.. I've called a few places and if any of you have done that, you probably have be swamped with people wanting to get your money. I've learned that there are a lot of scammers out there. Can anyone recommend a reputable transporter that I won't have to sell my soul to get this car home. Thanks in advance. Jerry

Check the moparts.com transport section. I used DOC and was very satified. I here truly vintage is just as good.

it can be a nightmare. find someone well recommended, if you are dealing with the middle man, watch out for lowballing, bait and switch, have good contract, be prepared to pay $$$.
best to be able to deal with the company direct doing the hauling. the broker is getting a cut. he can give you a price, you get a signed contract, only to have him weeks later,say NOone will haul for that price he gave you!!!!!
I had a contract, firm price delivered to my HOUSE. I even meet the hauler 30 mi from home at interstate to save him an hour, just for me to get there and his invoice is $50 more...... I paid it, said screw it, disgusted..... the company says " HUH!!!????" screw them, I will never ever have a car hauled,i got a friggin cummins and a trailer.....just me.....
