If I were you, I wouldn't allow my soured experience to sway your decision as it's only one of many experiences. The parts worked-but I was pissed because I had to spend another $30 and a two trips to the machine shop to make the parts work...if they sold it ready to use for, say, $40-$45 I would've probably still gone that way at the time...with some mild grumbling. Hughes has other things going for them, and many folks are happy with their products.
Everyone has an opinion, and experience is one helluva teacher.
