I agree with fishy that we don't no much.......But if the cam matches the heads & compression, and considering just local use and the occasional 1/8th pass.....I'd go 4.56's...at least.
Man, back in my day those were entry level gears. 4.88's & 5.13's were actually common with small blocks. Not to mention the 56' Nomad with a tunnel ram/roller cam'd 327 and 5.38"s. :D
