Im curious...everybody says a Slant lasts forever. I want to see that in action! All you high mileage /6 owners, tell me your odometer readings! I'll edit this post with the top 10 leaderboard. :)

I guess I start (nowhere near high mileage): 111,896.
 
I don't know the mileage on it because who knows how many times the odometer turned over but i'd say at least 300k. It was a labaron that I cant recall the year. It was sitting for years in a field at my cousins place. We threw a battery in it, and it started right up. Was running on swamp gas, the thing ran like a clock!
 
I know I don't come close, but I'm at about 126K right now.
 
I RACED my 68 with 300K on it. got to about 325 and started to not have oil pressure below 1000rpm, still ran like a champ though.

I had a duster twisted that had turned over 3 times 340,000 miles but not sure if it had ever been apart. Didn't look like it. Didn't even have enough power to power brake the car though.
 
Back in the 80's I drove a 76 cordoba with over 300k on the original 318. I changed the timing chain twice and the rod bearings once with the motor in the car. I finally traded off the car when the 2nd set of ball joints wore out.
 
I sold a '76 Dart Lite about 15 years ago that had 257k miles and was running at full song still. My dad bought it new, and put Mobil 1 in it starting at 10k miles. I kept it up. Nothing was wearing out in that thing with the full synthetic.
 
At first I thought you meant on my body. The highest mileage car I owned was a 65 Coronet with a 273. It had 250K on it. Purred like a kitten and still do a mean brake burn.
