My first big drive after getting the Barracuda back on the road.

Finally, I had a chance to show off my car to people that had only heard me talk about it.

I drove the Barracuda to work, 74 mile round trip. It ran fantastic! I wasn't sure about my combo because of the large solid roller strangled by a stock intake, stock exhaust manifolds (backed by 2.5" TTI pipes) and a factory 625 AVS.

But let me tell you, I does everything I need it to do and sounds great at the same time.

The E70-14 Bias Plys still suck but that's the tire not the car.

80psi cold oil pressure, 60psi hot on the highway. Runs at 180 degrees even in traffic or idling at a light (original radiator, stock replacement clutch, mopar performance 5 blade fan, factory shroud, NAPA reman AC water pump, 180 stat), AC condenser in front of radiator.

I had some issues with vibration (through the entire car) and an over stiff rear suspension that I corrected last week. It made me nervous about heading out of town. Turned out to be my rear shocks. When I removed the SS springs and switched to XHD springs (also flipped the front hanger), I hadn't realized that shocks installed were longer than stock. The rear shocks were bottomed out 100% of the time. Basically, the only rear suspension I had was my tire side wall.

All the vibration went away after correcting the shock length, allowing my rear suspension to work as it should.

Getting a car back on the road is one thing. Getting a car to where you are confident that you can drive it anywhere you want to go, is another.

This car will get me wherever I want to go and in any traffic. That's a good feeling.
