.....I have it....can't stop thinking about the early 62-65 B-Body Mopar's, especially the 1965 Belvedere/Satellite models. I would love to own one, I would definetly go old school with it and be big block powered with a max wedge style intake, torq thrust wheels and pie crust tires....dang these cars are hot! I also like the 62-63 Dodges, most think they are ugly, but not me :glasses7:

Only way I could afford one or a project would to be sell off some stuff.....dang I want one :banghead: :prayer: :D

I can just see my self with a early belvedere white with red interior 4 speed Ohhh can't forget about the hemi ... Aahhhhhh I love em too not many do I really like the polaras too

Had one and lost it many moons ago when I was younger.....only the second car I drove that was standard trans.....65' Belvedere I post. :(

One of the hoarding pukes around here got ahold of it an wont sell it unless he gets 5 figures for a car that needs a total resto......and that was over 15 years ago.

Planned Forest green and red interrior with Torque thrusts with a stroked 452.

This one belongs to my dad, he is the 2nd owner and it has under 30K original miles, also UNRESTORED :glasses7:

I told him this week that I want to slap on my set of AR Torq Thrust rims and tires on it to see how it looked...I think he cringed when he imagines me removing the original tires LOL!!! I think if I swapped them on it, the fever would just get worse.

Sweet car! Whats under the hood?

The 64' Belvedere/Fury/Savoy is my second favorite b body of all time. The 63' is the first.

Here's a pic of my old belvedere! 440/727/8 3/4" combo!! Traded it many moons ago for the GTX I have now!! Geof

me three! I 've had 4 or 5 over the years and they are great cars. for what ever reasons the nuts bolts and screws come off lot better thasn say cars built 68 and up!??? had them with the wide 318, 383, 440. 440 with max wedge tops, etc. they show up arouind here at decent prices but takes a lot of networking and luck, bu when they show I don't have the extra cash and too hardheaded to go to the bank!! LOL
NO ugly, just character!!!I like the 62-5 A cars cause to me have that same great character! just me......

I've always had early b-body fever too. My '64 Fury 318 was the best car I've ever owned. It had the best a/c ever too.

they can be found as roller projects' around mo ks ok ne il etc that someone got bored with for around $1000, ( yes its apart and a tu--), runnin driving cars that need all cosnetics for around $3000-4000, sometimes with B or R+B motor, sometimes poly 318... I love the body style better than the 66-70 B's, and much rather pay that for early B's,,, than $5000( $4000-5000 if what they all seem to want!??),, for a 69 383 runner roller ( no eng either!! LOL) !!?????? just me.......

I'v had many of them over the years, Love'em,
the 62 is still elusive for me looks only a mother could love but when one shows up at a car show its like bees on honey, Yah just can't take your eyes off it once you stand next it.

My latest pic. I love 65 Coronets. And who says 8 3/4 rears aren't strong. There's a Hemi under the hood. tmm

Oh hell yeah. I am liking these more and more myself. Love to do a Super Stock rendition of a 64 330 or a 65 Belvedere - 540 Hemi 4 speed. Probably paint the thing black with Torque Thrusts.

Steve

I sold my 65 coronet to buy my 70 340/4spd swinger. I miss that car, 30 over 440 was strong. A member on here has it now. My buddy has a clean 62 dart that I want. I love the front on those!

Keith, you are once again my hero. Been an early B fan forever, '65 Coronet was the first one to get my attention. This is my 4 speed Coronet, I also have a '64 Fury that is in the process of a 4 door conversion to 2 door sedan, and I have a '63 Dodge 440 wagon project on the back burner. No muscle car out there is cooler than a stripped down max wedge or hemi car, in my opinion. The roof on this car is metal flake but you probably can't tell by the pic. Still want a '63 Sport Fury though lol...
