71 Demon Door Glass

I am trying to install the door glass in my 71 Demon I located the hardware I needed but I'm wondering if I installed them wrong (I found two broken at the bottom of the door)

One picture shows what they look like. I took a couple of them installed as best as I could and (if this makes sense) this is how I installed them.
BOLT - TRACK - LARGER END - GLASS - SMALLER END.

I was thinking the larger coated side of the hardware would protect the glass from the track.

Any advice would be appreciated
