Bevis Built put a chebby 105 amp alternator on my Demon by welding brackets to the K frame and frame rails. It is mounted backwards and only has the one wire attached. The only real drawback is the radiator has to be shorter to make room at the bottom for the alternator and the fan on the alternator should be a reverse direction as otherwise the fan is blowing toward the back of the alt and the oncoming cooling air is going toward the back face of the alt. I am putting an Earls trans cooler 13w x 5 5/4h where the gap from a short radiator goes.
