Edelbrock heads Vs Jheads

Hey Guys

I have been looking into buying a set of Edelbrock heads for my 340 demon for some time now. I recently came across a machine shop that has a set of jheads in stock that has some work done to them.

i don't know to much about the engine as it is new to me but the engine is 1970 340, 750 holly dp, edelbrock ld340, and a set of full length heads not sure of brand.

I wanted edelbrock for the cool factor and the performance upgrade. but after find these heads im not sure what i should buy. The price is about the same.

This is the info on the Jhead from the shop Jheads fresh valve job, New 2.02/1.60 valves stainless(undercut) #3418915 E no springs, with seals/bronze liners and Serdi 4 angle valve job, surfaced ready to go $ 1500 pr

Can the seller of the J Heads provide you any flow numbers? I'm usually in favor of the newer technology as 40 year old cast iron heads never seem like the most effective use of my dollar(seriously, 40 years ago Jiffy Pop Popcorn was cutting edge!!), but if they flow better than OOTB Eddys (& I would say HAVE to flow significantly better, since they're SO much heavier) then maybe theyre worth your attention.

The Speedpro heads seem to me to be a cost effective option worth considering as well. Good luck with your decision.
