Whats this? 383 Stroker, Oh Yeah!

Ok, so we got a call from Nic a while ago. We went thru some ideas on this and that. Then one day I got a shipment from him. He bought a 383 engine with a bunch of used parts and he tells me, "I want a 383 stroker!" Ok Nic lets do it!

This is what happened after we talked a while, so please sit back and enjoy :happy1:

383 block sonic tested very well, so we went to 4.310" bore
A 3.91" stroker crank
My good freinds at RaceTec hooked me up with a killer set of Custom flat tops
PEP I beam rods 6.700"
Used RPM head got a good work over, 80cc final chamber
PRW Stainless Steele roller rockers
3/8 pushrods
Lunati solid roller cam
MRL solid roller lifters
Used RPM intake worked over a little as well
Used MP black valve covers
Used Milodon Road Race oil pan
MP windage tray
ARP main studs/head bolts
NEW Billet steel main caps, stock one were messed up from previous builder(???)
All topped off with a NEW FAST EZ EFI 2.0 and a Daytona Ignition system

Before we get into the nitty gritty I have to give MASSIVE props to the guys at FAST. The New 2.0 T-body system is just KILLER. So easy to install and use, so damn easy to adjust and it worked absolutely perfect! I wish more of you guys would use these over carbs, they are super nice. I have used 3-4 different EFI systems over the years, this one is the BEST!

Ok now that I got that out of the way, lets talk Turkey gobble gobble

500TQ at 3000, not bad. 550TQ at 3500, still not bad. 590+TQ 4000-4500 Pretty Darn Good!

500HP at 4400, nice. 550HP at 4850, real nice. 585+HP 5400-5950 Git R Done!

So it made some good power and Im very Happy! Actual peaks are as follows

593HP 5700rpm
597TQ 4300rpm
