Am I asking for too much?

To be honest, hearing that an engine that only has 40,000 miles on it already needed the intake and valve cover gaskets replaced and has a leaking rear main seal would make me suspicious of the rebuild job. I applaud your honesty but unfortunately there are times when disclosing every last problem in an ad could scare a lot of guys off. Not saying not to disclose them, just wait until they look at the car to tell them. Even though the clear coat is peeling it's not a bad looking car and once people see it they might not think so much of the small things that need repair. I think your price is just a little high. If I were in the market I wouldn't want to pay more than 2000-2200 for it in light of the high miles and issues. Even with that said I always price things a little high when I start too cause everybody wants to negotiate you down

OKcarcollector has a good point about green cars and resale. I like green, but not everyone else does

Thank you, I appreciate the response. I tend to be honest to a fault most of the time. Didn't consider how that would look in the ad.
