Don't be silly. The first time I encountered a line lock was in the fall of 68 or spring of 69. A friend had installed on in his 65 Chevelle. There are EXCELLENT for San Francisco hills. You stop with your *** hanging down a hill, and both feet are free to work the clutch and throttle.
