Lower Steering Column Dash Cover

Are these basically all the same pretty much between, Dusters and Darts from 1970 until 1976? I ask because I picked up one for my 74 Duster, not from you and I know it has nothing to do with whom I bought it from but it just doesn't look it fits properly?
