caliper it across the round (smallest part) and then up to the tip of the lobe (largest part), find the difference and multiply by 1.5. That will get you VERY close. First/last 2 are exhaust so measure 2 and 3rd for ex and in. Measuring it off a V-block with a dial indicator will measure the lobe lift off the base circle (zero it on base circle) just like measuring the lobe lift and subtracting the base circle with calipers, although calipers are usually not as precise and cant pick up the hydraulic ramp. Magnum cams use a 1.6 rocker, LA use a 1.5 (BS..cough!) rocker.
