County accidently sells fire department for $100.00

Now the county sues the buyer to get it back. This has to be government efficiency at its finest.

That there is pretty good, and reminds me of a joke

The local lumber mill caught fire, so they called the local small town, mostly volunteer fire dept, which was up on a slight hill

The fire truck came thundering down the hill went right into the thick of the fire, and the fire guys frantically put out the fire.

Afterwards the mill owner was praising the fire chief and his crew

"MAN!! That's some great work!!! You guys are heros!!!! I'm going to make a nice big donation to your department."


"That's good," says the fire Chief. "First thing we'll do is fix the BRAKES ON THAT TRUCK!!!"
