Am I insane? Swirl paint?

No updates as of yet.....I am working the body of the model to get it ready.......... I'm going to be doing a '70 Challenger TA that I turned to an R/T....
The body on this one is going to be.......... YELLOW! LOL notice the paint seen here is flat. thats a "base" coat of "color" to try and do a 3 phase type paint on a model yellow base coat (flat) then a gloss "swirl" color (Plum Crazy Purple) and then a good coat of high gloss clear coat Lacquer. While I've been "working" the paint on the body, I've also between times (while thats drying) been building a frame and adding a motor that well.........didn't come with the car, took out the 340 and shoehorned in a 426 Hemi that, if you look closely, is/has an aluminum block (painted that is).....As I seen a Hemi that was I think a 528 or something HUGE that was all aluminum, and had Hemi Orange valve covers and just liked how it looked! SO....I had to try it....
This whole car is something "Different" so.....Not just the motor, but the body color too! AND its got a Shaker coming through the hood!
