1970 440 Police Interceptor?

I got to ride in one of the 440 interceptor cars back in 1978/79. Don't remember what year the car was (early 70s or so), all I remember is MOPAR!!! It kinda looked like a piece of junk (big ole' 4 door) but looks are deceiving. The guy had bought it at auction. It had a little over 100,000 miles and it was one of the times in my life that I thought I was gonna DIE!!! It didn't have a top end and the guy kept pushing it. It was a big cruiser (4dr) but damn it would move!!! It's really amazing how a car that big can move that fast!! Those were the dazeeeeeeee!!!

PS - One of the other times I thought I was going to die was when I went for a ride with a friend of a friend in a '68 4 speed, 440 GTX. The guy came up over the top of a large bridge (over a ship harbor) doing about 145MPH and realized that there was an accident at the bottom of the bridge. He laid on his brakes for a good 150 yards (going down hill with tires squalling the whole time) before he had slowed down enough to avoid the accident!!
Those were the daySSSSSSSSSSS!!!
