Casey Kasem RIP

-
A real shame. He was the best part of Sunday for a lotta years. May he RIP. Looks like the family is gonna have a battle royale over it, too.

Another good one gone.
R.I.P. Mr. Casum, you brought a lot of happiness to people.

Well he lived a long and interesting life. Too bad the "family" looks to be starting a war

So long Casey... (and Shaggy from Scooby Doo..)

I loved Scooby Doo and listening to the top count down each week when I was younger.

The life support was his wishes not to be on it...RIP Casey... I loved his show when I was younger...Bill

Grew up with his voice. Both cartoons,& America's Top 40. Lost interest in most radio stations, when he retired. God Bless.

Loved Scooby Doo too Chris, I never realized he did Shaggy's voice till they mentioned it on the news.

About a month ago, I was reading about his disappearance.

Sad deal. He had some anger issues.

Your outstanding voice will be missed, Casey.
I grew up in SoCal and listened to KRLA 1110 AM during my high school years when they were the 'King' of the Los Angeles radio stations. KRLA had an outstanding group of DJs: Casey Kasem, Dave Hull (The Hullabalooer), Emperor Bob Hudson, Reb Foster, Jimmy Rabbitt, Bob Eubanks, Dick Biondi, Sam Riddle, and others. The music from the '60s was the best and so were the DJs.

Pretty cool guy, and one of the real movers and shakers of teen and pre-teen entertainment. I was never really a fan of American Top 40, but I do appreciate it's concept, and it's production.

Another of the "legends", gone.

I hope his family, and the media, allow him rest in peace.
