340 exhaust question

I put a 360 in my 67 barracuda, no oil adapter. I am wondering if my later 340 exhaust manifold on passenger side, (center dump), is going to work. I dont want to wait to hear the muffler shop say they cant do it. If needed i can hunt down a rear dump 340 manfiold from a 68 or 69. anyone?

I think it might work but I'll wait to see what others say. I have a magnum manifold that I machined out to 2 1/4" just like the 340 driver's side. I have one just like it on my '69 barracuda (318). It's rear dump and the exhaust comes out where there is plenty of room without the sharp 90 degree bend required by the 340 passenger's side manifold. If your 340 passenger's side doesn't work out just let me know and I will sell you one blasted and painted and ready to go. The pics show the exact same manifold on my Barracuda.

Thanks for info, I will update this when i find what works, Anyone use the 71+ 340 manifolds on their 67-69 bcuda? I cant find the casting numbers for the ones i have already installed. but came off a mid 70's 340/360 ebody.

You probably have a 623 casting which will be the easiest to pattern a pipe to and is correct for 71 newer 340 a-body. This also will allow oil filter clearance when not using the 90 degree adapter. Surprisingly the 623 casting flows almost as well as the earlier 68-70 340 manifold.
