Score of the year for me .. '68 Cuda 340 FS

Thanks guys. So, a friend and I took a chainsaw, air compressor, spare tire, jack, and chain out to the car in my '75 Ford 4x4. I cut down about 30+ small trees, and had to move a bunch of junk from behind the car. Good thing I brought the spare, the car only had 3 wheels on it, 2 of which held air. Mike, the previous owner, told me that he had broken the passenger leaf spring mount, but the car just needed a mount to be a roller again. Well, turns out somebody cut the leaf completely out, so the car was sitting down on the gas tank, and the drum had sunken into the earth. We jacked up the car, then jacked up the drum, put the spare tire on it, and then had to ratchet strap the axle housing to the spring perch so when we rolled the car, the axle wouldn't move and the tire wouldn't bite into the wheel well. We then put air in the 2 drivers side tires, both which held air. The drivers front wouldn't hold air, and all 3 wheels except the drivers rear were locked up (4 wheel drum) which made steering the car impossible. We hooked the chain up to the truck, and I pulled the car out backwards, then I did a 100 point turn in the bush, and pulled the car out down the trail.
Later that day, my cousin helped me load the car. He just has a handcrank winch on the trailer, which works fine, but is slow. We loaded the car onto the trailer after an hour of effing around with it, and got it home. Once home, I pulled apart the 10" drums and put on a tire that held air. Still hard to steer without any weight in the front, but Carmen and I managed to push it with the truck into the back. Anyways, here's the pics.

Unfortunately, after looking underneath, I'd say the car is a parts car. Both rear frame rails are rotted right through, the torsion bar crossmember is rotten, the front frame rails are borderline OK, and the floorboards are rotten. Somehow the body survived though.

This was out in the bush.

These were taken once I got it home.

And just a small example of the rust.
