FWIW, I run quicker times with the mufflers compared to open pipes (tested the same day, same track, runs 15 minutes apart). Flowmaster haters can take that info for their research.
Pretty sure it's been tested and proven that most high flow mufflers out perform open pipes. You'd see the same thing if you stuck on some Dynomax Ultraflo's or something similar. I don't "hate" Flowmasters, I just don't care for the sound on most Mopars for some reason. Put them on a 90's fox body Mustang and yeah, I still like that sound to this day. I know I know it's a Ford. So what! I'm a Mopar nut but I don't discriminate the other guys (unless the owner of the car is a know-it-all prick).
