My mother passed away last night after a short illness. Actually she had just celebrated her 94th birthday on June 11 and I think she was just worn and weary and ready to go see the Lord, my Daddy, and her other family members and friends that had gone on before. I am blessed to have had her for so long, but I will miss her greatly. I know things will get better with time, but right now my heart is aching.

My condolences. It's all the good memories of both my parents that have kept my sorrow down all these years.
 
Sorry to hear about your mom. If she made it to 94 she must have been a strong woman.
You'll feel better in time, but you will always miss her.
 
So sorry for your loss. Some relief may come knowing that it could have been a long drawn out painful illness.
