What counts as "Old School"??????? I've not been here all that long nor have the typing power of some with 20,000 posts...... BUT.....Then again, I haven't bee here even a year yet, some I see have been here for the past 10 years! DAMN!

So, whats "Old School"??????

I'm not sure if I fit in for old skool??? If not I might have to go cry and bite my pillow.

One word "Grandkids", maybe that's two words................................................. I better go back to school..............................

I'm still here as well,..more of a lurker lately, that is when I have time,...My Family has been hammered by some heavy blows in the last 12 months,...And Pam no longer works 2 jobs so she has been home more alot more, so we both have been alot more active,...

We decided that life is too short, so we have been traveling and doing together stuff alot more,...

Am I old school???...well, I'm old...and I've been here a while...I guess that qualifies.

I haven't posted much lately cause I have "some stuff" going on in my life right now thats taking up too much time.

Hey 65Val! :hello2: I guess that make us both old skool. :) I've been here for a little while, and I'm 65 so I guess I qualify. I still check the forum most days but don't post like I used to. I put my 66 Valiant on the back burner to do my old 74 Z/28 for my son, and am now doing a 55 Chevy 2dr sedan for my daughter. Once that's finished I'll be back on the Valiant full time.

This seems like a scene out of a movie where all the old guys sit around at a job site complaining about the new guys. We were all young and ignorant at one point. It's a computer forum and it's not like the new members are going to be the demise of the site.

I'm old. And I went to school. But I still consider myself a noob around here.

I want to thank all the old skoolers for their vast knowledge and willingness to share it. And to the other newbies that contribute as well. The amount of combined knowledge and advice around here is incredible. I have learned more about A-bodies than I ever possibly could have imagined. And likely I have been guilty of "asking those same old questions" but you guys have been great!

Right here on this forum we have experts, and highly knowledgeable people, from every imagine able facet of our cars... Everything...from body & paint to electrical, engine, transmissions, tires, upholstery, performance, brakes, lighting, carburetors, and the list goes on and on.

THANK YOU ALL.

I think you're reading it wrong. No one that I've seen is bashing on new members (not Keith's style anyway).

I've been here for five years now. I've seen members come and go, some I've developed actual friendships with, had dinner with, speak to on the phone or email and some who just lost touch over the years.

There's some old faces missing who have been here a lot longer than I have that I still wonder whatever happened to ______.

Yet, at the same time, it's kinda like former co-workers. Sure we got along well as we worked side-by-side, but once the job has been left and we've moved on, that's about it. Nice to run into 'em every once in a while and catch up, just to satisfy curiosity and see how the other person's been doing.

There might be a couple of the other original "Old Skool" members still kicking around but not many and old as me in FABO years. I think I qualify for the "Old Farts Club" to. LOL I still check in and post often enough. I do take the odd day off to go fishing, hunting or just enjoy life though.

Go ahead, hover your mouse over my name, you don't see member numbers that low to often, but there are a few. Where are you Kev, (Evil Scamp)?

Jack
