good cam for a 318

-
i got all of that too except buildsheet but i cant get my back seat to pop up

Triple R, there are 2 340 cams....remember the 68 4 spd version? And a 360 4bbl is so close to 340 auto and a dime a dozen too. A 258 in a stock 318 would wake it up a little, so would a Herbert stage 2. Grab 360 4bbl intake and its carb and bolt on 40 hp....

No. Just one. Show me where you can buy the 4 speed cam and I'll agree with you. Trying to keep it simple since the 4 speed cam is not available. The 360 4bbl cam IS the 340 cam.

rob,if you give jerry at schneider racing cams the spec he can make one for you at a fair price,if he already dont have one sitting around to copy.but ive never seen one off the shelf lol.i had the 340 auto cam in a warmed up 318.it ran ok,but not as well as i would have liked.i ended up swapping it out with a short duration narrow lsa isky cam.it made a big difference.more power everywhere ,but ran out of steam a little sooner.so that woud be my suggestion: isky 256 cut on a 108 lsa,or the dual pattern 256/262 cut on a 110lsa.
