Beware: Plum Floored Creations....

First, there are so many in accuracies here to address I want to clear the air.
First, and most important I am a Chrstian and it is of upmost importance to me. Have I made many mistake yes, and I always perfect no. But when I can I try to right the mistakes the best I can regardless who or what caused them.
03 ram it. I have no idea what Cuba you keep talking about. You reference an engine that was built by basko racing for Percy Scott and his brother 71 cuda. This engine was a 426 stroker and I am unaware of anyone that can make stock pistoms work with a Callie's stroker crank and rods. If you have a question please contact percy direct as I last spoke to him at length at a show this jan.
As far as the superbird clone goes I did learn there are some jobs you don't want and this one we should not have taken. The car arrived and it looked great from 20 feet then you realized the car was full of bonds and slapped together to sell on ebay
The owner even stated that the nose cone, "looked like the guy made it with his d&&k."
The original build was to be an Inertia Motorsport 392 with a 545rfe, altercation 2 k frame and wildwood bbk all High dollar componets.
The car was delivered with an engine that the owner decided to sell to go towards the build. This was done at the owners request.
The 392 was delivered an installed and at no time was the engine left outside or with the heads off. Once running the car was delivered to Extreme Performance in Glendale at the time. They were a dyno and cmr tuner that was to tune the car. The car was running fine at the shop but they were having difficulty with the diablo sport software.the car was left at the tuner for approx six weeks while they attempted to resolve the tuning. Marty with extreme contacted me and said they were unable to get the car to start. a
at this time we recovered the vehicle from outside there shop via tow truck and brought back to our shop. We spent awhile dianosin the problem, but then elected to ship the engine back to inertia motorsports
While this was happening the owner had. Request if we could get the headlights put in the nose (as they were just stock coronet lights mounted behind the doors which were velcrod or pinned on. He brought with him a combination of home made doors and mechanism and even headlights from an 80s firebird. We informed him we had worked with a fiberglass guy Rick fiberglass in Glendale, the owner gave us a budget which the glass shop reluctantly agreed to. Well as a couple months nose wasn't done and the shop through in the towel they had reinforced the nose as it was too flimsy and added a lot of glass and had to fill in the headlights as the opening was both too large and reinforced. This is why the work was done but they did not wish to finish the work. The work that was performed was done to stiffen the nose and make it so the buckets could be attahced. This work was performed at no charge.
what we did to try to make things right was we paid for the engine to be shipped to inertia as wel as the repairs, the owner then elected to have them build a 426 instead and paid the cost difference
We also gave the owner AND installed another complete Hemi, this one was a 5.7 for his trouble and so he could finish the car as he wished while the stroker was being rebuilt.
We spent many many times more hours on this car than should of been required due to these issues and the condition of the car (like most of the floor pan being patched with fiberglass) these were never charged for and nor did we ever intend to even if everything went well. That is what we did to try to make things right.
We have made mistakes, and made major changes because of these. We never have been a machine shop and never will. We don't assemble short blocks, we no longer do fabrication, or any body or paintwork.
Being a Christian unfortunately doesn't guarantee perfect results, nor making no mistakes. I try my best and when I do make a mistake try my best to correct them or make it better.
These issues happened over two years ago, some well over that. Unfortunately no one posts when the parts were recived or problem fixed. So in closing if you have ANY issue with us please contact us direct at [email protected] or call or text us.
We don't monitor this forum or check our Pm folder often but if you want to contact us you have the means
