Did mine just in front of the axle. Sounds good and not too loud inside the car. Kind of like the way they sound when they go out at the back bumper, obviously louder to those behind you at the stop lights and such.

:oops: thot about that fuel cell, but I had already put a new tank in w/ dual pick ups out the back of it, thus ending my tailpipe dreams. remains to be seen how loud it`s going to be. put two 3.5" bullet roundy round mufflers -w/ a 3.5 spiral core tack welded 1/2 in and 1/2 out of each one. dunno, hope it`s not deafening----bob
