[SOLD] Complete running 340 and 727 trans

I have a complete running 340 engine with a date code of 7-8-69. It’s been redone about 5 years ago but has been sitting for a couple of years. It runs very well with no smoke and has 55 psi of oil pressure at idle. The engine has the “J” heads with the 2.02 valves, the MP .509 cam, an Edelbrock Performer 360 intake, Holley 750 carb #80508-3, MP black wrinkle painted valve covers, HP valve springs with steel retainers, and the complete MP electronic ignition. This engine will come with all the pulleys, brackets, water pump, fuel pump, starter, alternator, ignition and a 2 core radiator for the driver side lower radiator hose application. This engine is complete and you can hear it run before I take it out of the car. Since it sat for a couple of years, it may not look pretty right now but a tune-up, a little cleaning and paint and it’s ready to go.

I’d like to get $1200 for everything plus the shipping.

I also have for sale the 727 trans that was behind the 340. It's in excellent shape, shifts well and has clean fluid. It also comes with the dipstick and tube. I’d like to get $200 for it plus that shipping.

That might put it out of the reasonable cost range. I would have to use truck freight and that would kill it. Do you have a US address that you could use?

I do have US shipping address in CT but it does not have facility to receive an engine.

Only 400 miles from you but we are divided by that custom fee gobbling boundary line! Lol!

The engine and trans have a firm commitment by a fairly local member so I have to say that it's sold and will be picked up in a couple of days.
