And then some. Severed ties with my family in 02. Got notified of my Dads death by the Mesa AZ PD knocking on the door...told me that my mother had asked them to tell me to call back to NJ...Notified of my Mothers death via a letter stating that her will had gone thru probate and I was getting nada. That was in 06 or so. Have 0 plans of going to visit there graves.
Family, for me at least, is way over rated. Pretty much the only thing my wife & I disagree on is family matters...
Sorry to read of your depression. Depression, left untreated, is a very dangerous thing. Can be the start of a very dangerous downward spiral....
