Who has the highest revving small block?
Man back in the day if your engine couldn't go 7500 rpm plus you were a sissy..lol
My little Red Dart in 78 had the same cam that I put in IfItsGotWheels car..the only differance was mine had a 250 shot on it.
I remember pulling gears on the bottle and the tach never dropped it stayed on 7800 rpm and the car would jump forward every gear change.
In 80 I had Jack Engle grind me a 278/286@50 for that Red Dart when I restored it and put a fresh bullet in it..I drove that car everywhere...it was an 8400 rpm bullet..
Mark with his 331 ford with yates heads would go 10000 rpm..Chomo with a 277 chev was the highest I've ever saw at 12000...

Heck my 502 Low Deck for my GTX goes 8200 rpm so it's just not small blocks that can twist.
