Ethenol problems

I don't know for certain, but I would think that is a rumor. They have had ~10% ethanol in gas for quite a few years now. Also might depend on the type of pump....For example: I run e85 and use a Holley Black pump, no problems...but it is alcohol and gasoline compatible.
