I found this really sweet new spare tire in a barn outside of Carlisle.
It's a Goodyear "Power Cushion" 6.95-14 Polyester.
Here's a link to the Ebay auction with 25 more pics! The opening bid is $130.
Thanks for looking!

While I'm not 100 percent certain about that, and it could certainly be considered a relevant question, I'd rather not have this thread turn into an ugly troll infested debate about "what came on what".

I appreciate this forum and the chance to advertise my auctions but I'd like to respectfully remind everybody that commentary is not supposed to be posted on "for sale" threads.

Thanks again!

As far as Im concerned it is a relevant question.......
Im curious as well
Good luck with your link/auction

is the wheel sbp? that is a cool find-- I'll see if tire rack goes back that far on date coding a tire.

Does anyone have knowledge as to the tire put on mopars back then? I'm sure any amount of change could affect the stock used on production vehicles.(strikes, embargoes & the like) Lawrence

It is SBP. Never been repainted. Wheel date codes jan 8 71.

Many FABO members have confirmed in PMs that their original 68-72 cars had Goodyear Power Cushions. I myself had a 68 with a 13 inch Power Cushion.

Again, I did find this chart on the net for goodyear tires:

Also, here's a duplicate link to the Ebay auction with more pics (25) than I could put on this site:

Does it still hold air?

I have tires that are 20 years old that are too dry rotted and won't hold air....
