Carlisle or Nats?

its been a decade ( or more) since attending Carlisle and Nats , for those that have attended both recently AND years before, which show is BEST, swap, racing, show cars, and after hour socializing??
for those of living out here on the edge of the world, quit an investment in time and money to attend ....... .
 
I haven't been to the Nats for many years.I attend Carlise every year,at least the last 5. Carlise is for sure much larger/better for parts etc.Show cars and general enjoyment is great also.I would have to say the drags are great at the Nats.The nice thing at the Nats is you can look at parts,cars,then watch drags all day! switch it up whenever you want!! I might go to the Nats next year instead of Carlise...
 
Carlisle seems better organized and more professionally run......but the Nats...is the Nats.

big swap meet and separate car corral for the sellers

I have been to both the last several years....if I had to pick between the two........for me, it is the Nats! plus, if driving, it is a lot closer to you.....maybe 6 hours closer

I agree. I attended the Carlisle show the last 2 years and it is a pro show no doubt. But after the show its boring! I love the Nats, unorganized, loud and down right fun at night!

I've been to carlise for the past 10 years going to the Nats this year for the first time, can't wait!

I forgot to even mention them....kinda part of the great "after hours socializing" at the Nats'....better known as B.S.ing into the night.
