Here is my 68 valiant 100 the day it arrived from denver to my home in nothern, ca. It was my grandmothers car she bought in 71. I have always wanted it since I was a kid. It sat since 94 till 2013 under her carport. Has a 170 /6 with a 3 on the tree with a current 82700 miles.

19 yrs of dirt and grime trying to get polished out.

And she is daily driven now after I had to switch out the fuel pump and gas tank. She had a few gallons of fuel left in her of 19yrs. Rotted out and crystallized in the tank.

Here is a cpl shows I attended this summer.

And here is how she sits now. Swapped out the 13"s on bias plys to some sbp 14" wides with 205/60r14s.

1965 Dodge Dart Conv Factory Hurst 4-spd /6
Have been told it is 1 of 23.
I had trouble with the width of the headers I got from clifford and the 2 bbl intake I bought on ebay. Did you encounter similar problems or just buy the set from clifford?

Thanks for any input.

Did you buy you intake and headers from clifford? I got some headers from them and a 2bbl intake off of eBay and the width do not match up. Have you encountered any problems like this?

Here are some pic of mine

It looks like the headers and intake are not flush. Is this true and is it a problem. I encountered that with my clifford headers and intake and wasn't sure how big of an issue it was.

I got mine from Larry at Clifford. My intake and headers are different size also, I use their thick gasket and was told to use 30 ft lbs on them and re check them after 5 mins. Still having some problem due to the fact my front header was warped bad from them welding the tubs and had to have then flat sanded at a shop. now trying a cut washer on two studs to take up the extra space do to them being warped so bad. you can call out their and they are good at helping. I can get you the number if needed. My rear side sealed up nicely. you have to use Mopar slant six washers.

Sweet car! Reminds me on my old 69 Dart 50,000 Mile unrestored car...wish I had kept it but sold it in about 1999 cause at that time 4-door cars were not cool.....:banghead:

It's a San Francisco car. There is some body panel rust and small holes in the front floor boards and trunk floor but the underside is super clean. Runs good, drove it home 140 miles.
