Mongoose Rear Engine Hemi Cuda

Got the honor of seeing (and touching) my friend Dana's Plymouth Dealer's Hemi Cuda yesterday.
This thing is in pristine condition, and a true survivor, even thought the engine and tranny were missing, the rest is complete. It even has the tears in the headliner where it blew a few blower belts.
I took my Mopar friend Ray from Australia (pictured) over to see it.I promise you, it is not "rusting away in Seattle" as Hot Rod magazine recently stated. It lives in a climate controlled building year round.I can't disclose the location, but it far from Seattle.
Dana has most the parts to put it back together except a cast block.Bucky Austin gave him a blower.
I guess the hardest part is finding a torque master tranny. They only made about a 100, he was told most those blew up.
Hard to believe, it was built using mostly a stock frame, with a single masted cylinder to stop it!
Another interesting tid bit, is the rear glass was formed in a pizza oven!
This is the car McEwen drove, but not the one that crashed. Not a replica, or tribute car. This is the real deal.
Dana was asked by Prudhomme if he would sell it to him, but Dana said it was not for sale, as it was a gift from Fred Goeske.
It is not getting a chassis update, so it will never go down the track again. It is destined to become a "Crackle Car"
