1972 Ford Mustang Mach I {R-Code} ~ "Feared by Mopar or Falafelled'

When I was about 14 (1982), I rode in one of the iconic yellow boss 351 cars.
It had a bit of work done to it, and it really impressed me.
One of, if not THE fastest/quickest cars I'd ever been in at the time.

Years later (1991), I bought a 71 torino GT 351-4v ram air (shaker) car- auto with a 3.5 9 inch, in that lovely "legend lime" green.
I was the second owner, and it had about 70K on the clock, with most of the original hose clamps and such under the hood, and the original polyglass spare tire.

For all the hype and legendI'd heard regarding the 351c, I really thought that car would be more of a screamer.
There is NO WAY that car could outrun my 70 383 Super Bee. NO WAY.
It handled MUCH worse as well.

Interestingly, I've never seen another 351 shaker car.
All the shaker hood cars seem to be 429 cars.
