Moparfest 2014

:) Just got my mirror tag and wrist bands in the mail today! I'll be making the trip down with my old man and brother in law. Parking in the general show field though as I'm only there for the Saturday. Hopefully swing by the FABO area and say hi.
 
Well it's official Pre-registration is closed , I wonder what the total was ? there's a lot of prizes up for grabs and the odds could be pretty good , We're due for a FABO member to be called up for the car draw again .
 
wow just did a count for the Halibut steaks and it looks like 20 FABO members plus some spouses , I'm going to ship 2 dozen or so to whoever is local to the show and gives me a PM with their address , Andy brings the Brats and his BBQ every year so I want to do something for the Sunday lunch , how about it anyone else going top get in on this ? I'm itching to start the drive , LOL less than a month to go .
 
Lori n I are planning on bringing something...$$ tight, but we will bring salads or something to contribute for sure

I tried that the first year I went , I brought a case of Grandville Island Honey Lager and a case of Vancouver Island Rickards Red and ended up sending almost all of them home with MtNemo after nobody wanted them , in fact I occasionally get reminded not to bother bringing beer , just a friendly heads up eh ! This is more a Bud Lite crowd .
 
I have a bottle of Don Julio tequila with Moparfest written on it,to share:D.I,ll be bringing my shelter and fold up table,along with some tubs of potato salads,cole slaw,macaroni salad and plates.Might as well call it a pot luck lunch for everybody bringing stuff to share.:cheers:

Fold down seat in the Dart Sport...the 68 Barracuda went Lastyear,it's the Dart Sports turn again.Need to row some gears after racing auto all summer :burnout:
 
Whats the scoop on a few cold ones at your car? I saw on the Moparfest website it says booze in licensed areas only. Camo your beverage, and keep it on the downlow?

Sounds good Scott! I have the BBQ all cleaned up and ready to go. I'm picking up some fresh farmers sausage from our local market before we head out and I'm also bringing some Cowboy burgers too (yummy).
As for the tequila..... I'm sure my wife will appreciate that! I will stick to a few cold ones.
 
I will be attending as a spectator but I have a family reunion that weekend too.
If anybody wants a Billet master cylinder adapter I deliver one to you.I am thinking of doing a special $25 price for that weekend too.I have a thread in the mechanical section if you have not seen it yet.

I finally got my Tickets. Must have been a mail mix up, so they sent another set. Looking forward to seeing everyone again
