low deck based 383/432 builds...

When researching my 432 build, I found info for long and short rods....use long 440 rods or short 383 rods. Some info said the shorter rod and associated shorter dwell time at TDC would help reduce detonation. I am running iron 906 heads so thought less detonation would be a plus.
I am just finishing a 432 street build, with Scat forged crank...had to cut .10 off the counterweights to clear the block and bottoms of Diamond forged pistons. I used the short 383 rods with ARP bolts.
Fisher summed up the main details. the rest of the build had no surprises. I am just sorting out the fuel mixture at my altitude 5200 ft. Engine runs well.
