I stopped counting the dollars a long time ago. It just depressed me. The worst way to spend money is when you have to pay one shop to fix another shop's screw up. It sucks when you do your research, go to a highly respected and expensive Mopar specialist in metro Detroit that has been doing this since the 60's, and they mess up the basic machine work. The decks were milled on a slight angle from the rear to front so that the rear was a zero deck and the front was out of the hole by .015", the cylinders weren't round, and the intake was ported so badly that there was no way to align all of the ports to the heads. Don't get me started on the clearances! They were all bad.

I wondered why the thing just never seems to run right or make the power the parts would lead you to think that it should. I finally pulled it out and took it to another shop. When this guy got it apart, he just laughed. He said he saw better work done in a high school auto shop class. Thank god that I had another place do the heads for me!

Anyway, I'm into this thing for MANY thousands of dollars. If this doesn't work, I'll probably just sell everything, clean out my garage and go buy a Camery.
