I'm also about to do the same thing I'm looking forward to hearing from people.

Yea, i took out all the doir panels and figure id use them as a template, and im unsure about the rear seat delete, but im sure someone has some tips... And seeing it helps a bunch too

here are a few of my old car that I did. The doors are copies of the original panels and the back was free handed. I did the back sill too but did not take pics.

I have a 24" electric bead roller and access to an 8 foot break. I recommend buying your aluminium with clear or white vinyl on both sides. It makes it easier to roll, so you dont scratch the metal.
Also use cardboard templates for layout. When you draw out your bead lines make sure it will pass through the bead roller as you turn it. Also take your time, practice, practice, practice.
Always start on a straight line, in the middle of the line not at the end or beginning. If you find that you are wavering off the line come back gradually not abruptly, less chance of seeing mistakes.

Good luck

.032 but i would do it again in .040 for longevity. Again I must advise that you order your aluminium with vinyl both sides.

Go to www.bigwigracecars.com and see what Rick does with bugs. I use his tips and style for interiors. He has it figured out!

Here is my 68 dart aluminum.

Here is some more pictures of the 68 dart. Even my head light stickers are on a round piece of aluminum, they look real even up close. My dash is the worst aluminum ever, I keep hearing about fiber glass dashes but I can't find one.
