I paid $2,000 for my '74 Duster. Absolutely zero rust, pretty straight body with all original paint, interior in far better shape than that one. It ran, although it later turned out to be on 5 cylinders. But with what you know about that one, it might not be any better. I almost succeeded in driving mine home.

IMHO a $3,500 trade is about the top of the market for that Duster. And only because its a '70 and may not need an engine rebuild. And its a '99 Silverado. Sorry, but :puke: A $3,500 Silverado for that Duster would be a pretty nice deal if the owner of the Duster will take it.

Also, that '70 does not have ALL original paint. There's a blend line in nearly the same place of both front fenders. May be hiding a previous accident.
